Chris Vought went two for three and Owen Mellow turned a triple play. The Orioles mounted a comeback late, powered by hits from Cody Chalifaux and Hunter Cleary, but flamethrower Lucas Debettencourt slammed the door on the rally, assisted by sure handed fielders James Robinson and Matteus Scheffer.

In the fourth they added three more on a two run single by Ben Peters followed by an rbi by Talon Russillo. The Rockies added five more in the sixth on a bases loaded rbis by Scotty Lively, Jack Sierputoski and Harold Lawry. The Twins were led by Val Major, who homered and David Packer, who pitched well.

The Rays and Marlins met Saturday in a classic pitchers duel behind the pitching of Sam Cranston and Zack Danz. After five innings the Marlins had a 1-0 lead. In the top of the sixth Anthony Cimeno hit a two out single to right to give the Rays a 2-1 lead. However in the bottom half of the inning Ben Tillman countered with a two out single to left scoring Cranston and a sliding Jeremy Regan ahead of John Morris' throw to the plate. It was a strong defensive game by both teams.

The Oriole pitchers continued rolling along, allowing only three runs in a 7-3 victory over the Marlins. Cory Medeiros was strong, striking out six in two scoreless innings. Hollis Kelly contributed on offense with two hits while Eli Gundersen and Jack Murray scored a pair of runs apiece. The Marlins battled but rallies were defeated by two putouts at the pate, an infield double play and an outfield assist by Medeiros. Jared Regan led the Marlin defense with three putouts and three assists. The teams meet again on Saturday.

The red hot Rays beat the Twins 10-2. Anthony Cimeno once again led the team as he struck out seven Twins in two and two thirds innings and had two hits. John Morris also collected two hits and pitched well. Zak Danz anchored a very strong Rays defense. The hit of the day belonged to Valentino Major, who crushed a home run to give the Twins an early 1-0 lead. Val also struck out five Rays in two innings on the hill. Twin Joe Serpa reached base twice and played well behind the plate. The Twins and Rays face each other again Saturday at 2:00 at Nunes.

The Orioles topped the Marlins on Saturday in a come from behind victory. The Marlins jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first but the O's chipped away over the next few innings. With the Marlins ahead 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth Jack Murray delivered a two run, walk off double. Cathal Robinson and Cory Medeiros also had big days for the O's, each going two for two. Jeremy Regan was the Marlins' offensive star, with two hits and two runs scored.

Fullin also starred on the hill for the Twins.

The first place Rockies suffered their first defeat of the season to the Marlins, 8-6 Thursday evening. Seven Marlin batters provided the offense. Cooper Bennett, Cole Luenberger, Michael Moore and Owen Bresnick contributed big hits in the victory. Jack Sierputoski pitched well for the Rockies and Zack Moreis was three for three at the plate. The Marlin pitching combination of Sam Cranston and Jeremy Regan limited the Rockies to two runs over the final three innings to stifle their comeback. Bresnick and Bennett combined on a sparkling 5-3 putout in the bottom of the fifth.

The Marlins offense finally showed itself in a 16-9 slugfest with the Twins. Val Major hit a grand slam to deep left center in the second inning for the Twins. Jeremy Regan of the Marlins matched him with a grand slam of his own to right field in the bottom of the inning. Jake Howell and Gavin Leuenberger combined to go five for five at the plate with eight rbis. Sam Cranston quieted the Twins bats over the last two and a third innings, backed by nice defensive plays from Owen Bresnick, Jeremy Regan and Jared Regan. Benny Binder reached base three times and scored twice for the Twins. Val Major threw out a potential base stealer at third with a bee-bee.

Cathal Robinson drew a bases loaded walk with two out in the bottom of the sixth, propelling the Orioles to a thrilling, come from behind, 4-3 victory over the Rockies. The battle for first place lived up to its hype, as both teams exhibited sharp pitching, tight defense and timely hitting. Curtis Fournier led the Rockies with eleven K's over four and a third innings while also homering in the second. The trio of Hollis Kelly, Cory Medeiros and Jack Murray, channeling the early 1970s Baltimore Orioles, held the high powered Rockies offense in check. The heavy weight rematch will be this Saturday.

Zach Danz, John Morris and Anthony Cimeno pitched great for the Rays. It was a well played game with few walks and solid defense by both squads.

Sam Cranston, Owen Bresnick, Peter Burke and Cooper Bennett led the Marlins offensive attack, reaching base thirteen out of fifteen plate appearances. Bresnick was a blur on the basepaths, swiping four. For the Twins Gus Pizzano and Joseph Serpa reached base three times apiece and Val Major twice.

The Rockies avenged Thursday's loss to the O's with an 11-8 victory. The teams are once again tied atop the Minor Leagues at 6-2. Zach Moreis and Curtis Fournier had the hot bats for the Rockies. For the Orioles Benjamin Nadelstein, Hollis Kelly and Cathal Robinson led the way, combining for six runs. Hollis Kelly's three run dinger was the biggest hit. Jack Siereptowski Struck out eight and pitched great and Cody Caseau closed it in the sixth, earning the save.

Cary More-Straton, James Kelliher and Val Major all chipped in with two hits apiece for the Twin City squad but there was no cooling down the Bird's 18 hit onslaught. In perhaps her finest game ever Elizabeth Williamson collected three hits and recorded strikeouts nos. 1,2 and 3 in closing the game.

Ben Nadelsteinhad two hits for the O's. Catchers Jared Regan and Owen Bresnick of the Marlins and Hunter Cleary of the Orioles had nice defensive games behind the plate.

The red hot Orioles continued pounding the ball Monday night and defeated the Rays 16-6. A two run blast by Corey Medeiros capped a relentless day by the O's offense. Two hit days by Rays' Otto Osmers and Louis Neville helped the Rays to an early lead but the Orioles (with five players with two rbis apiece) quickly overcame the deficit. Medeiros also dominated on the mound, holding the Rays scoreless over two and two thirds. Taking advantage of those on base in front of him, Hunter Cleary drove in five runs.

The Rays took an early lead but the Reds pulled ahead for good behind big hits from Cris Vought, James Robinson and Lucas Debettencourt. Everyone contributed as the Reds piled up runs. The biggest hit was Debettencourt's home run. Owen Mello, Max Eber and Debettencourt pitched exceptionally, allowing three Rays runs through Five. Vought came in to close in the sixth. The Orioles survived a semi-final scare from the spirited Rays in Wednesday's 10-8 victory at Manter Field. Advancing to their third consecutive final, the O's got a mid-game pep talk from former Orioles Dillon McAndrews and Jacob Gundersen which helped new Orioles Ned Smiley and Liam McCarthy produce key run scoring singles. For the Rays, Jason Davey scored three runs and Patrick Dutton scorched an opposite field double. In the end, All-Star Hollis Kelly set down the Rays 1-2-3, and the Orioles started making plans to defend their title.

Wednesday's playoff game was a nailbiter to the end. The Twins played excellent defense and on offense Val Major hit a ball into deep center for 2RBI's in the 3rd inning and drove in another in the 5th. August Pizzanno also contributed with 2RBI's in the 1st and 5th innings. On the Rockies side Curtis Fournier held the Twins at six runs in the 6th inning with 3 strikeouts. Garret Broadley sealed their fate with a RBI in the bottom of the 6th to win the game 7 to 6 to propel the Rockies to the Minor League Championship game on Saturday.
